And the winna(s)....

The main winner is Leyshon Campbell aka DeepShadow. Mostly for the second of his three adventure hooks.

But we'd also like to send a shout-out to Bob Mason aka ???? (a messageboard username wasn't given). While his submission as a whole didn't win, one of his ideas begged for inclusion and will be added to the mix.

So work will shortly commence on an outline for the adventure with the final porduct hopefully due out in the spring (but given how long some of our ambitious products can get *coff*nocturnalgaz*coff* it might be longer).

(Sorry this is late, I chose a bad time to be in control of a contest and was on my honeymoon with the new Mrs. Jester and had to sneak away to read the final submissions and pass them to the rest of the Fraternity).

Heh heh. I think that's one circumstance that folks here will be able to count as an 'excused absence'....

Congratulations to Leyshon for an excellent submission, with kudos to spare for Bob and the other contest entrants! :D

(Oh, and congrats to Jester too, for that matter: I don't think I've said that yet to him and his Jester-ette.)

Congratulations, Deepshadow. Well done. I haven't read your entry as of yet, but to say the least this doesn't surprise me; judging from what I've read here on the forums you have quite the sense of creativity.

Congratulations DeepShadow and Bob! I can't wait to read the outline and teaser summary! I hope we get to see it soon, as I'm already far too eager... (God forbid I'd just read the new QtR to cut the need for new stuff :D )

Congratulations Jester on your wedding! I hope you two have very many happy years together!

Oh, and DeepShadow? I know it's a touch early to say, but thank you so much for breaking the world!

And to the FoS? Thank you so much for keeping the world going to begin with, so that we can still break it!

And to the Kargatane members who still check things out, thank you all too for having created this community to begin with and for having set such a strong example!

And I await the crimson fires
That'll wash this world away!

Congratulations! Applause! I tried ordering a case of fireworks from I'Cath to celebrate the event, but for some reason no one could find the factory...or really, any civilization there. I'm really looking forward to this quite-possibly-seminal event!

And especial congrats to Jester, for joining the ranks of the happily married! Enjoy it! We have cookies. :D

Congratulations to the winners, and golden duct tape for the Demiplane to fix all the fiendishly creative breakings we're going to put in it!

(I hope the DPs are insured.)

Ah, yes. Let us take a moment to mourn the memory of David's bachelorhood, his life of partying, his freedom, his random streaking in the mansion, and his nights of getting so drunk that he wakes up next to Drusilla the next morning.

Whoops, did I say that? he he he, I mean...CONGRATS on getting hitched.

That's interesting, my brother (HDT) got married just last week.

If Jester's nature is as friendly as his name, and his heart as plentiful as his posts, I'm sure Jesterette is a lucky gal! Best wishes to them all - they're in great shape for the future!

Wahoo! Thanks to everyone for the kudos and congratulations!

So it was the second one you were most interested in. I'm glad. I'd like to share the other two with the audience, if that's alright, but I take that "mostly" to mean you may be using some part of one or both of them? Let me know.

*ahem* Now what? I'd love to be involved at any level you want, but maybe you already have everything you want from me. (Black widow's mate backs slowly toward the edge of the web) Drop me a line? You'll be in touch?

It will take long, probably after the releaseof the said adventure. Like I said, many ideas will/could be borrowed from other submissions to make side treks, rumors, etc.

So DS, I suggest you keep your gem to yourself for the moment :)

"Mostly" means that we're going to combine your Part Two with Bob's adventure outline (at least, that's the plan at present). (BTW, that scenario looked, shall we say, awfully familiar. :lucas:)

And yes, we'll be in touch.
