In other words, make sure every NPC in http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/wiki/category:NPC has Categories for Gender (Category:Male, Female, or Genderless), Race (Category:Human, Category:Werewolf, etc.), Nationality (Category:Barovian, etc.), and Residence (Category:Inhabitants of ...) at least, and preferably a profession or class too. And make sure every Location has a "Category:Locations in ...." category too. I'll work on a way to formalize that shortly...

Understood. Any help is welcome, though. Some doesn't require any actual knowledge or book consultation.

Here's one anyone can help with, for example:
Every Domain has a "dombox" template with pertinent info over on the side. There's a section there of "Related Categories". (stuff like "Locations in Barovia, Inhabitants of Barovia, etc.) Only the links there don't point to the categories, they point to pages of the same name. Why? Doesn't matter, but click the spoiler box if you care for an answer.

VIEW CONTENT:

The links there are auto-created by the Dombox template, but they are created based on the Domain's page's name, and the page name isn't always the domain name, because sometimes there's a "(Domain)" qualifier on the page name to distinguish it from something else (like "Aggarath (Domain)" and "Aggarath (Dagger)" or "Davion (Domain)" and "Davion the Mad"). I wasn't able to find a good way to avoid that.

Anyway, those pages need to be linked up to the right categories, as follows:
"Locations in Barovia" should be a page that consists solely of "#REDIRECT [[:Category:Locations in Barovia]]"

And if the categories don't exist, they should, so the category page for "Category:Locations in Barovia" should consist of something like:
"This category is for locations in [[Barovia]].
[[category:Location]][[category:Barovian]]"

Note that if there's a (Domain) in the domain page name, that should be removed. So:
"Flora of Aggarath (Domain)" should be a page that consists solely of "#REDIRECT [[:Category:Flora of Aggarath]]" NOT "#REDIRECT [[:Category:Flora of Aggarath (Domain)]]"


If anyone has a smart idea on how to do this, let me know. I could write a script, but it would be nearly as tedious as doing it manually. So far the best way I've found is to go here:
http://fraternityofshadows.com/w/index. ... limit=3000
Then search that page for "Flora" or whatever, open a bunch of them in multiple tabs, copy and paste in "#REDIRECT [[:Category:Flora of ]]" and then fill in the domain name in each one, save them, then if any of the categories are red, click on them and fill them out.

The result: the line marked "Flora of Borca" in the dombox of http://fraternityofshadows.com/wiki/Borca is blue, not red, and it leads to the right place.

It's tedious, yes... but it needs doing. Any help would be welcome....
