All Goren can tell is that the spell is one of the lowest tier of magic. No other information becomes apparent. Alas...

Edited my post to remove giving the stone to the captain. We can vote on it here.
My pc will not want to keep it, actually he can't.

Although Zumba is not particularly interested in the stone, and probably not even aware of it, I (the player) would rather keep it in the party.

"
((OOC: Might want to let the rest weigh in before we pass the stone over to a NPC. Nice In-Character sentiment, but it's a pricey rock, enchanted, and might be useful to some one of us. Worst case, it turns out to be something we need later, rather than a random bit of shininess.))
"

I agree with the Ail and Tarlyn. I'd also rather keep the item in the party.

Pulled my ooc post out of the thread to keep it tidy. Sorry - posted it in the wrong place.

  Fair enough to me. Next post he will give it to Wilbur and you guys can decide what to do with it.
You guys/gals will soon learn that Goren can not keep any wealth more than what he needs to sustain himself such as
a few coppers and a ration or two. The rest he must give away.

It might be kind for Goren to let the others know what he discovered with his Detect Magic... Hint.

"I only speak the Common and Chondonthan tongues of my land. No dwarvish, or
this Darkonese? I accept to travel with you Wilbur and anyone else who so choses.
I have discerned a low type of enchantment on the stone as a matter of fact.

Yes the Morninglord does work in mysterious ways, I suppose. You say these mists
have their own ways. I guess I have arrived by their own whim, Wilbur. I will join you
to meet this Sentire. They are wise and knowledgeable in many ways and might perhaps
deem my situation important enough to perhaps help me.

I have never heard of Souragne, however. Maybe it is in the southernmost part of my lands
and I have never heard of this island before."

Can we presume that Comprehend Languages is now terminated, Rock?

So he does mention it to Wilbur but like I highlighted in red, I am thinking his spell is now terminated. If I am wrong please let me know
and I will let the others know as well ;)

Well... that reminds me of something quite paladin-esque, but I'm not going to look for clerics that also would have to follow that rule

Also, is Goren naturally adjusted to warm environment or does he have a protection from elements or so spell permanently cast? :-P

(me and my big questions... 8) )

Look at how he is attired. He has little or no possessions. No armor. A simple robe, a mace, boots, a bag and pantalons. He
said he worships Lathander as well ;)

Actually we will all have to figure that out together. Both I and Rock know why,
but Goren actually doesn't.

Great :)
As for the first part, I'm not learned enough in FR lore. But I'll wait for things to develop
