My assumption is that those PCs who were posted as having entered the closet are still inside, but can talk to those outside because we're all in the vicinity of one another.

Yeah. I had at first ignored the obvious clue [keys] because I had figured my PC hadn't looked inside, but I have a clearer picture of the situation and environment now.

BTW, I will cry tears of shame if no one has the balls to check out the SCROLLS on the shelf.
