Bluebeard would only be good if you want to get rid of Bluebeard. If Strahd finds out that Bluebeard is treating Tatyana like he usually treats his brides he is going to send assassins. Most likely female vampire assassins!vipera aspis wrote:Bluebeard would be another good one.

One thing I have used in a previous campaign was a extraplanar fiend and an emordenung. Nostalia Romaine would be a good substitute, but the more common fiends are more concerned with spreading death and destruction. However, the fiend could offer physical companionship and the other a power base from which to operate from.

Pick a devil instead of a demon for the fiend and you will be fine. Devils, being LE, are far more interested in corruption and tyranny than random death and violence.

Oops, by bad. I meant demon. If it helps, the two in my campaign waged war against both Boritsis and the Dilisnyas and provoked a huge conflict between the two families.brilliantlight wrote:Pick a devil instead of a demon for the fiend and you will be fine. I have a devil in my campaign. An eyrinyes sorcerer who corrupted a wizard. His domain is right next to the Dukkar's (who I granted a domain so he is now true darklord) and she goes all out to destroy the Dukkar, more than almost anyone. As he is half demon she sees it as part of the Blood War. Her master would reward her greatly if she destroyed the demon-spawn. If she didn't even attempt it Dispator would have a new lemure. That is her worst nightmare so on top of being a war loving creature she has a deeply personal reason to want him destroyed.Dark Angel wrote:Oops, by bad. I meant demon.
