Gygax wrote a Necropolis module for Dangerous Journeys, back in the early 90s.
The D20 Necropolis might be a conversion and expansion of that one.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Zilfer, can you add a couple tables to your first post? One for players seeking games, and one for GMs seeking players.

Sound's good.
Edit: Tis been done, let me know if anyone else wants their names thrown up in the first post of the topic or any DM's or Games looking for them.
I'm still open for playing in a game if anyone's open, since the one I'm currently in is a little slow at the moment.

Zilfer, could you add me as a potential player? I'd appreciate it.
BTW, this would be my first play-by-post so I'd need a little training up. But I'm ready to try. I can post at least every three days. Maybe more if needed.
I'm familiar with D&D 2, 3, 3.5, and 4. Plus Call of Cthulhu, Old WOD, New WOD, Shadowrun, 7th Sea, and others.
Thanks.

Alright I added your name to the list. Yeah i'm in my first one too that's moving slowly but i've begun to realize that's how the must all move. Even doing a PbP with my friends it seems to have hit a slow part with 1 of my friends hardly posting in weeks/months. v.v I've reminded him plenty of times i'm starting to wonder if i should just cut him from the game if he doesn't have time for it, but he has time every weekend for a game? Laziness?
Re: Players seeking PbP Games / PbP DMs seeking players
Probably just skip his turns. Just have him be in the background. You don't want to lose your other players for just him. And maybe getting skipped a few times will bring him back into things.Zilfer wrote:Even doing a PbP with my friends it seems to have hit a slow part with 1 of my friends hardly posting in weeks/months. v.v I've reminded him plenty of times i'm starting to wonder if i should just cut him from the game if he doesn't have time for it, but he has time every weekend for a game? PM him and post in the OOC forum that he has until a certain time -- note the time zone -- before he forfeits his turn.
I once played a WoD LARP where the ST would count down from 5 after shouting out the initiative number. If you couldn't think of something to do in those few seconds, your player couldn't either.

Yeah, that was my Idea. If we skipped him a few times and he got left behind it might motivate him. He's in the same time zone, I'm doing a PbP with people I know and play with in real life. I just can't for the life of me get him to post.
Re: Players seeking PbP Games / PbP DMs seeking players
It doesn't have to be personal. Just tell your group that you want to keep a steady pace and make progress so you won't lose steam. Then set a schedule where you post.
For example: "I post the new turn once a week or once every three days. I understand if you guys can't post but I'll have to skip you for that round."
You just have to see what timeline is comfortable for the majority of your players and go with that. If your players can only post once every two weeks, then you set the every other Friday schedule. That sort of thing.
Plus, it takes the pressure off of that one player and keeps it from being personal.
