John Strange & Aurelius the gnome

-'John Strange' is an assumed name. In truth, the man doesn't know his proper name, and remembers little of his past. A cabin-boy found John nailed shut in a wooden crate, floating in the Musarde River. Since his rescue, he's travelled with the party, while seeking clues about his mysterious past.

-Aurelius is a gnome from Egertus, in Nova Vaasa. He was enslaved by Falkovnians, but freed by John Strange. He has demonstrated minor magical abilities of the sort common among gnomes. The Falkovnians used him as a maintenance-gnome for a large clockwork machine.

Edit: John and Aurelius were killed by some sort of monster, after the return to Pont-a-Mouseau.
