Longelivity potion

If memory serves me right, 2ed Forgotten Realms box set had a reference to a proper life extending potion that had an accumulative chance of it draining years instead of adding them.

Wasn't there a Potion of Youth in the 2ed DMG ? With this (cumulative) chance of reversing it's (and all previous Potions of Youth) effect ?

Yes, but that isn't bad.

I can use Ravenloft ideas even outside of Ravenloft.

I'm sure I've read something similar to this recently. A potion that subtracts from your characters age half of the middle age for their race.

Can't remember where, though.

I think the best idea is to take this potion from Vistani. They should know how to prepare it, because they "play" with fate, life etc. Of course it will be difficult to find the Vistani who can prepare it and persuade him!

As about how the potion will be made, I like the idea of the essence from fey, they are immortals and it's more logic to get the essence from them.
