In theory, in accordance with the rules about failed powers checks and the power/curse gained though failing them, shouldn't he also have additional abilities or stat increases to represent this, as outlined in the RPHB? I realize that is, mechanically, for players, but it hurts my brain trying to perform the mental gymnastics that would exclude darklords from this power scaling. :Strahd:

Wouldn't it make sense for Strahd to take levels in Eldritch Knight? He would easily meet the requirements. It would progress his spellcasting as well as his BAB, and the only thing he would lose, as far as I can tell, would be the Wizard bonus feats.
