NWN Portrait Assistance Request...

Post by Guardian of Twilight »

I'm getting ready to make a character on NWN and take them through the original campaign (been a while for me now), and I thought that I'd try a female character and see how the story changes, if at all. I've just recently found an image that I would really like to use, and was wondering if maybe one of you could make it into a portrait for me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

It appears that you will actually need to save 5 versions of this picture to play it in NWN. First, save the image as a TGA file rather than a JPEG. Then you will need to open it in a photo editor, and resize it for Huge, Large, Medium, Small, and Tiny (~385 KB for Huge & down to 7 KB for Tiny). Save each one in your NWN file under the Portraits folder, ending the name for each with either H, L, M, S, or T. (look in that folder now to see what I mean). Good Luck!

Oh, and I've played through NWN with female characters before, the only changes I saw is that your female henchmen & Aribeth don't hit on you (neither do the male ones) but Aaron Gend does.
I only wish I had retired sooner!
