Even though I'm fond very fond of Borca and Dementlieu, I have to say:
Barovia
Seriously, it's Transylvania. Yoo don't get more gothic then that. And its not just vampires. You can do werewolves, ghosts, created, the whole works there. And you have Gundarak for all sorts of Balkan revolutionary goodness.
And it has STRAHD. You know, pretty much the most central character of all Ravenloft, bar none?

Why not? It's a legitimate realm with canon material. And I know it was a VERY stupid location for it, but it was once part of the core.Scarycount wrote:Sorry, but that is not one of the domains I am counting.Igor the Henchman wrote:The Nightmare Lands
So here's the Tally:
Barovia: 4
Kartakass: 2
Invidia: 1
Mordent: 5
Darkon: 2
Paridon: 1
Richumelot: 1
Souragne: 1
Borca: 1
Phaerazia: 1
Nightmare Lands: 1
Dementlieu: 1
With one vote that is "Invidia or Darkon".
Looks like a close race b/w Barovia and Mordent.

I'll tip the scale a bit further: Mordent!
I like Barovia as well, but to me Ghosts are a more versatile than Vampires (or, let me rephrase that: they spark my imagination more). And I really like dark, foggy moors...
And thanks Undead Cabbage, I'll just update your list:
Mordent: 6
Barovia: 4
Kartakass: 2
Darkon: 2
Invidia: 1
Paridon: 1
Richumelot: 1
Souragne: 1
Borca: 1
Phaerazia: 1
Nightmare Lands (or Tepest): 1
Dementlieu: 1

Come on fellow fans on the grey realm: you aren't about to let vampire-land beat us, are you?
*chuckles, as no one has voted for Sithicus* = 0

Yes, I too rather like Richemulot, but who is Tanya Huff and what has she contributed to its elaboration?Mortepierre wrote:Best domain: Richemulot ! (thanks to Tanya Huff)
As to my favourite, it is Barovia. Curiously enough, the fact that is the choke point between the east and the west of the Core has a lot to do with.
The cure for what ails you
It´s very dificult to choose a single domain, but I will take Invidia.
