Happy Thanks Giving!

Post by ScS of the Fraternity »

Happy thanksgiving to all us Canuks!

This year, I'm thankful for turkey, pumpkin pie, and antacids - all of which I consume in copious quantities around this time of year.

I'm American but I'll say: I'm thankful for Canada. I don't live there, but I plan to flee there at some point when things get hectic in the US of A.

Other Canadian things I'm thankful for:

Joe Thornton
Kids in the Hall
Chris Benoit
The Hart family
Neil Young
Jim Carrey
John Candy
Geddy Lee
Alkaline Batteries
Instant Replay
Terence and Philip
The word "eh."

Not so much thankful for:
Celine Dion

... then of course you meant to add Trish Stratus! :P

Right now, I'm working in an office in Vevey, Switzerland, and am thankful that the person who's desk faces mine is a Canadian originally from Toronto, who speaks French better than I do. She has kept me up to speed on the things I need to know to function here.
I only wish I had retired sooner!

Miss Stratus broke me heart by leaving. Had to leave her out until I get over it.
