Need help with Latin and French

'vir stannum' seems okay to me.

I would have perhaps used 'vir stanneum' for grammatical clarity.

As you're referring to a 'him' then perhaps 'vir stanneus' would have been more appropriate.

The other option is perhaps 'vir stanni' (the man of tin).

I went with "les Temps des Nouvelles et Impénétrables Ténèbres" in my campaign...

Also, for the Lawgiver and such, I find French does not translate well so I would probably go with "Celui qui Ordonne" or "Celui dont Provient la Loi"... Something along those lines...

As for Latin, since I don't speak it, I usually pull out a dictionnary and see what the root of the word is and then play along with it until I get something I like...

thanks vorpal. Looks like I can get away with it. (umm... Darkonese has different grammer than latin. right.)

Some of those other versions are good. I would've used vir stanneus or vir stanni if I were starting over..

Thx all for your answer, it help me a little with the translation of those terms.

As for the lawgiver, i read a french version of the RLCS and he seem to be translate as the Justicier, which i found fit perfectly what the lawgiver intend to be.

Yep, The Lawgiver is "Le Justicier" in the French version of the book, although now that I think of it, Charney's idea of "L'Ordonnateur" might fit even better. As for the ToUD, the French book uses "Le Temps des Ténèbres Sans Précédent"
