Spooky songs

Post by Manofevil »

Here's a place to post your favorite spooky songs, We've all heard songs about ghosts and haunted places like 'Hotel California' by the Eagles and 'Home by the Sea' by Genesis, so let's start a collection here. I'll start. Here's a song I heard when I was very little. It scared the hell outa me even then, and now somebody's made a cool video of it.

You can probably find youtube videos or at least renditions of the song on youtube. Also any kind of music qualifies; country, rap, chamber music, TV themes, if it's scary or it tells a spooky story. POST IT! :D

So, gentlemen, that's how it is. Until Grissome.... resurfaces, I'm the acting president, and I say starting with this... anniversary festival, we run this city into the ground! :D

I don't mean to shut you down; just wanted to make sure you saw the previous post.

The original Dawn of the Dead soundtrack (Goblin) and some Carfax Abbey stuff is what I prefer. Even some Skinny Puppy.

I've mentioned this one before, but I'll do it again. Jonathan Coulton, "Creepy Doll":

(haven't seen this video before. It's pretty perfect for the song, though)
"We're realistic heroes. We're not here to save the world, just nudge the world into a better place."

Here's a song I prefer when I am getting in the Ravenloft mood... :D

Seek not in the shadows, for there ye shall find secrets too terrible for mortal man to bear.
