Re: Travelling with Vampires

Hi all, Please help me with this campaign idea: An island somewhere in the northern hemisphere, in arctic regions. A recently deserted town. A baroness or a queen and her court, transformed into vampires. As for the map of the castle, I had thought of the *vampire lord castle map* from Heroes of Ho...

Yes, I'm afraid personal banners are not allowed on these forums. (Long story.) Neat though it is, please remove it from your sig, LordG. A text link to the art exhibit is all right, though. - Roti, who's sorry she has to be a party pooper :( OK, then that needs to be in the FAQ. Because I checked ...

Yes, but 300 was a live-action picture and DL is animated. Apples n oranges.

In a word, yes. Even modern animated movies that look like pen-and-ink are also computer generated.

While I'm not juiced about seeing it, I am happy that there'll be a horror/suspense type film that I can see on Christmas Day! :D Sometimes, the holidays just overload you on cheeriness.

I already have FFG's Darkness & Dread. I'd recommend it to any Ravenloft player or anyone who wants to start a horror-based home-brew world. The rules for libraries and research are worth the price of the book alone.

Change your thinking. Just because someone has great power doesn't mean that person must use its full force. Sometimes, using the full force of one's power is actually a hinderance than a benefit. (Think of a big brute quickly grabbing a crystal vase using his full strength.) Sometimes, one must use...

8.) PCs wake up to find themselves each in possession of Ba'al Verzi daggers and, amongst their effects, credentials. . . and the name of their next target!

Special note goes to Lord Godefroi for his critique. Thank you, and I will certainly keep it all in mind. Since I've made pages 3-5 already I don't know if I can apply any advise just yet, but I'll take a look and see what I can do to make it more reader friendly. Again, thank you. It's good to rec...

Yes. Might be fun. Critique: The positive stuff: 1) Your values and textures are great ! Keep it up ! The rough spots: 1) Practice on perspective and human figure. If you keep working, you'll get better. But be aware of this and practice away from the comic strip as well. 2) Use professional (or clo...

One thing unique to the Mid-west (I'm in Kansas) during Halloween is the corn maze. And it's exactly what you think: A maze cut out of the endless rows of corn on a farm. Under the light of the full moon, a corn maze is pretty spooky. Children of The Corn, anyone ?

While these are solid, I'd think they'd need some tinkering for Ravenloft. The Gravediggers hook is a good one but could easily devolve into a dungeon-crawl if not handled carefully. The ghost pirates hook is OK but I wonder if players might take a "been there, done that" attitude what wit...
