I started playing when i was 15, which was a year and a half ago..
Prior Roleplaying experience of 6 years, so methinks that's about right.. Though my Pc's ages are 15, 19, and 26.

Death, in my campaign, occured when a player do something wrong or when they're outnumbered by ennemies or not enough prepared (this mean buffed in 3.5 :D )

Re: Bringing back the dead...
Indeed.. i have had some minor death problems in my campaign, in the sense that my PC's aren't what you would call brilliant strategists.. My party has trouble thinking outside of the box and is constantly getting into trouble for that, by getting either slaughtered or in a bit of trouble with the ...

I've been wondering the same thing for awhile now..
How i handle combat is simple, each combat is sort of a puzzle to the game. You can do it the hard, long way by killing each opponent the mundane way, Or, you can use the surroundings or a weakness to a particular creature to make the combat ten ...

Does the current adventuring party have a mid- to high-level evil cleric among its enemies? If so, you might let the bad guys do the work for a change. The evil cleric gets ahold of the dead warlock's body and restores him to life, but on the condition that the warlock becomes a spy and saboteur ...

Bringing back the dead...
Indeed.. i have had some minor death problems in my campaign, in the sense that my PC's aren't what you would call brilliant strategists.. For example, i had a wizard (2nd level) Run over to Azrael and hit him over the head with his 1/4 staff.. in which Azrael retalliated by slicing him in half with ...

Indeed, i had a similar problem when i first started running in the dread realms.. (a year and a half ago...) Everything I did seemed too fantasy, or strait gore, to disgust my PC's.. What I did was read a few Ravenloft novels (Heart of Midnight, Knight of the Black Rose, and Vampire of the Mists ...

The Wolf God
Somehow in my chronicle of events the Wolf God has become an importent figure... or at least one that is to be seen much of as a deity.. And yet I am still unclear of all that the Wolf God is..
Is he not a non-existent being, and merely a figurehead for the darkpowers to, in a manner of speaking ...
