Just curious if the "Break The World" description was ever posted.
Also, since the adventure wasn't going to line up with the original plot idea anymore anyway, I'm curious if we could all learn what it originally was anyway, since it'd no longer end up spoiling the real adventure.

Vlad Drakov's Curse - Application to Defensive Wars?
So, we all know that Vlad Drakov seeks to conquer neighboring lands and increase his own land holdings, that this has always been his greatest desire, to become a powerful lord. And we all know that the Drakov's curse is that he is fated to lose any conflict he begins with his neighbors. BUT... I am...

If Ravenloft is a flat world, lose the concept of the nautical mile, as it's the same as a regular mile. Also, lose the majority of Trigonometry, as circles aren't as important. Keep all of Trigonometry that relates to triangles, to calculate position in relation to two fixed points in the sky. Howe...

With the lack of a world-scale religion, there's also the lack of Science destroyed by Dogma. Example being that the Greeks and Romans both knew that the Earth was round, but the Catholic Church managed to obliterate that notion during the Dark Ages and it had to be re-discovered. Additionally, the ...

I keep meaning to reply and keep not getting around to it... So here's a rushed followup from me. - First, thank you to Mr. Naylor for your kind words! On Upheavals, I just figured that since Science deals with observing and creating hypotheses regarding phenomena that repeat over and over again, an...

Well, you run into the obvious issue of where you're going to find the good dragons in Ravenloft, but once you're past that hurdle I think it's good. Well, I don't think that dragons work with Ravenloft very well at all, so increasing the rarity only makes things better, in my opinion. And note, to...

I realize that the Dragonborn discussion was dropped for the moment, but I wanted to point out the idea that was proposed when a similar problem arose, as written by Jester in the thread PHB2 for Ravenloft - thoughts? In this case imagine a wyrm cult, a group of humans who worship the great slumberi...

Actually, looking at the map again and examining the order that domains appear, there's actually no problems at all until Nova Vaasa appears in 682. With Arak bordering on Barovia prior to that point (as Azalin goes into the Mists from Arak to form Darkon, but doesn't hit the Mists before that, Arak...

Hey, Strahdsbuddy, I've thought a lot about this issue as well, but not in dealing with a Chronomancy campaign. My concern was about what Darkonian elves should know, considering that elves start adventuring at around 120 years of age, meaning they were born in 635 BC (Ravenloft 3E being set in 755 ...

Oh, I also meant to say: This is totally cool, HMB! I really like what you've created with Mazrikoth, and I'll definitely make use of him! Also, though, considering how much time you had to use for creating the stats, I'm definitely more interested in using something like Savage Worlds from now on, ...

It didn't get posted because that would defeat the purpose of writing the adventure (underway as I write). A good point, though I always imagined that the summary would basically be like the ones on the back cover of game modules, more to hook and tempt people into buying it and (hopefully) not giv...
