So TSR was considering ending the line in 95/96? Then it was being considered to end in Wotc? Then probaly by Hasbro's Wotc, and now probaly by WW.

Perhaps all this should give us some hope, our beloved little line has quite the resilience.

Just curious for speculations' sake. Do you think Ravenloft still would have declined if TSR was never bought out by Wizards?

I fail to see how this post contributes anything to the discussion. By "criminals" I wasn't refering to serial killers, or a person attempting to wound or kill an officer ...

This topic is very biased and will never come to a complete agreement on all parts, so I hope no one gets too worked up over this. Yes, I say biased because this is a topic where everyone had been forced to draw their bias due to their paticular growing up.

In my opinion I think life sentences are crueler than death. I would take death over a 20 year sentence, and would have to think about it for a 10.

Good read, I'm suprised your players didn't get into it. Perhaps you could sit down with them and share the same things you've put into words here, or just have a talk with the first player who you said really loves the setting, try to get her to help you with the other players.
