Thanks everyone for the great ideas so far! I'm normally all for triple layered plots, but I want to keep this one on the simple side. The Forgotten Terror is one of the 9 RL products I don't own, so I'm not going to use Aggarath (didn't even know it sucked souls). And I want to save Adam for later,...

Adventure plot help needed (Guardians)
Finally getting to play again in a couple weeks, and I'm thinking ahead a bit. After the current adventure, I want to send my PC's on an adventure I've been planning since the beginning of the campaign. It should be a rather large climax for one of the runing threads. Problem is, there are a couple ...

Like ScS said, Last Stand didn't bother me because I thought the paladin would go from Domain to Domain killing darklords and dissolving domains. It bothered me because it breaks the tenets of the setting. No mortal magic should be able to cross the dark powers, including bossing around their playth...

Personally, I think the modules work best when woven into a homespun campaign. I realize, of course that not everyone has time for that. My own campaign is about 50/50. I wouldn't try to run ALL the modules. Some of them are stinkers, and some of them are repetitious. (If you're running Adam's Wrath...

Conservative Judaism here. But I'm also a very scientific/technological-type, so I suppose I'm some sort of deist or theist. I've also got some unitarian leanings. (i.e., there is a god of some sort, although he chooses to operate by physical laws most of the time, and while my organized religion su...

I always liked one of the explanations from the SotK survey. I think it was John Mangrum's, but I could be wrong. The DP's are the shadows of the gods, the dark parts of their psyches that they don't admit to. The gods push them away into their subconsious, and they act out an exagerrated version of...
