Re: Cartulary of Nartok

Just taking a quick look but so far, this is amazing! If this is the quality to expect from the Ravenloft Cartographic Society, then it's quality worth waiting for (even if it takes a while)! I've a few Darkonians from the Nartok/Rivalis region so I'll definitely be using this!

Re: QtR29 - submissions open (it's a secret!)

Glad to hear it, Mephisto! I'm making sure to work on my propositions this particular week, during my off-time when I'm not in classes. The more in QtR, the merrier!

Re: Review thread of VRGtRL 5e

So the Burning Peaks are still active in your game? Did someone replace Vecna? I guess since "Vecna" appeared in Stranger Things we are probably going to see him again in official 5e products including Ravenloft. Well we are probably going to see him in Stranger Things season 5 as well. P...

Re: QtR29 - submissions open (it's a secret!)

I'm thinking of trying my hand at submitting quite a few things for this year, first time I've ever participated in a netzine or fanbook like this before so I'm a little nervous lol. A new take on Bluetspur and the Illithid God-Brain that is somewhat cosmic horror and somewhat space horror, with mor...

Re: Going Back to Ravenloft...You All Benefit

How goes the campaign you're running, Rucht? I remembered you saying something about making another map of Levkarest that's in line with the Gazetteers, did you ever get around to doing that or does the current map still suit your needs well enough?

Re: WORLDS OF RAVENLOFT is coming to DMsGuild

Nice to see another Worlds of Ravenloft product on DMsGuild! I already have Ixcapa and Charity Cove so this will be a fine addition to my collection

Re: QtR 29

This is quite the good theme! Given that it's all about secrets, I'm somewhat curious about the timing. Stranger Things recently gave a spotlight to "Vecna" and then WotC followed up with their Vecna Dossier (complete with a statblock and one-shot adventure on the God of Secrets that's got...

Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to tell you we have the permission to create a new section in the fan archives : Lucifer Abbaddon have given us the OK to host his netbooks. We will be back when it is online! Joël Sorry to necro an old thread like this, but I'm curious to know if there was any pr...

Re: New Ravenloft comic

Glad to hear that the first issue seemed alright, Joel! If this Lamordian comic book succeeds, we might get more on other 5e Darklords, which would be nice!

3 AM Dread Possibility: The War of Thoughts and Dreams

This particular Dread Possibility (who's name is inspired by the War of Jokes and Riddles of DC Comics) is inspired by Leliel's interpretation of the 5e Nightmare Lands, so please check that out and give them some love! Link here: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=247440&h...

Re: Ilsabet Obour and Ivana Boritsi: What's the Difference?

Yeah I myself don't typically use the 'bad seed/enfant terrible/fetus terrible' trope, even for the inhuman Darklords like King Crocodile in my "3 AM Thoughts on ..." series. Feels like the Dark Powers are looking for the exceptional, and while the 'bad seed' trope is exceptional, it feels...

Re: 3 AM Thoughts on the Illithid God-Brain

I like this version because it involves the Thaani and is more human-centered morally, not high fantasy and also comprehensive than trying to figure out what could be considered immoral or evil to an alien-like race as the mindflayers. Yeah I understand that completely, personally while the Seldrid...

3 AM Thoughts on the Illithid God-Brain

Ah, the God-Brain. This floating mass of cerebrum that's been peacefully chilling out in Bluetspur, and has been a part of the setting ever since Realm of Terror. It's even in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, so there's definitely a place for this not-of-the-usual-gothic-horror Darklord. But what d...

Re: Ilsabet Obour and Ivana Boritsi: What's the Difference?

Ok, I definitely think I understand Ilsabet and the various versions of Ivana better, so I appreciate the rundown, The Lesser Evil. And I'm also quite interested in the morality discussion with Mistmaster and Mephisto/Tomokaicho on the side, so I'm grateful to the help so far! I hope Kislova gets co...
