I found

http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/Maus ... rticle.dot

under the "Miscellany" link on the front page.

I didn't want to derail the QtR29 thread with my THAC0-related reminiscences, but then I went and pointed out the video embedded in your response to the Lady Fordam.

She declared: "Best. Reply. Ever."

There are good ideas in everything :)
I can vouch that there's room for the occasional 2nd edition article too. :D

Re: Controversy time: Nova Vaasa

I think it makes more sense for the Church of the Lawgiver to have been a minor sect at the death of King Kethmar (although, in later canon he is not king merely prince). When Prince Othmar assumes the throne, he names the Lawgiver religion the official religion of Nova Vaasa, and in turn receives ...

Re: Controversy time: Nova Vaasa

Personally, I'm more interested in the politics among the five families and, of course, the tension between the recognized civic authorities and Malken's criminal underworld. I would play the Church of the Lawgiver as an influential faction but no more dominating than any of the five families or Mal...

Re: Important changes to come at the Fraternity of Shadows!

We welcome our new dark overlords! Congratulations, Mephisto, Rock, and Wolfglide! And hearty thanks as well to those who are stepping down and those who have kept the mistways open.

Re: Ravenloft in Starfinder

I believe the adventure is "Crystal Spheres", and the (potential) darklord is T'Lann. See http://fraternityofshadows.com/wiki/T%27Lann in Mistipedia and the article "Domains That Came Before" from Quoth the Raven #22.

I'm also a big fan of the gazetteers for Souragne and the Nocturnal Sea.

Within "Scenes from a Starving Land", please replace the text of the section entitled "The Swords at Fort Grasu" (currently starting on page 315) with the following: Fort Grasu was built in 735BC at the behest of the Dervich Merchants' Guild, which was tired of losing their best ...

Re: Quoth the Raven #28 review thread

When I read about the wereweasel all I could think of was this... The next time my group finds itself in Kartakass or upon Liffe, they will surely be accosted by a mustachioed bard playing "Wereweasels Ripped My Flesh". (All the noise, plus lycanthropy!) I've got at least one Zappa fan am...

Within "Scenes from a Starving Land", please replace the first paragraph of the "Lycanthrope, Wereleopard, Snow" write-up (currently on page 317) with the following two paragraphs: The wereleopard of G'Henna is frequently mistaken for a werejaguar, except that there is nowhere in...

Re: Quoth the Raven #28 review thread

This entire article is right up my alley, because G'Henna holds a special place in my heart. Too bad it has to be separated from the Core, because I think a religious theocracy with a focus on hunger and starvation is a powerful draw. It had an almost Gazetteer type write-up with Circle of Darkness...

Re: Quoth the Raven #28 review thread

Scenes from a Starving Land - a nice elaboration on a rarely used domain. I like that it makes it feel a bit more lived-in than usual. I didn't quite understand the situation with "The Jackal," though. Is the Captain the same person as the Widow? Did she kill her own husband? Also, the we...
