this film is now available as part of the Hammer Horror series. i recently bought it and enjoyed Brides. i vaguely recall seeing this one as a young boy and i remember being impressed with meister's death scene.

took off of work to see it on opening day. i loved the way the city of Gotham was depicted. in this respect, BB was much better than the Burton films.

i like Valachan, myself. not the safest domain. their tax collection system needs some work. but i like the thought of living in a more rustic setting.

i've been watching the Millenium DVD set recently.

you can take your pick of scary moments from this show.

i got a new job as the Director of a Beacon Center here in Philly and i've been working 12 hour days in preparation for our summer camp. sorry i havent posted for awhile.

a bit off the topic but ... i dont think politicians are inherently evil, but they often fail numerous Powers Checks once they're elected.

OK ... i know i'm lame, but i just saw 28 Days Later last night for the first time. scariest moment: when the protagonists realize that the army they thought would help them are more savage and tribal than the infected.

As for the Black Box, while it might not seem amazing and innovative now, at the time it was quite astounding. The advice therein on building atmosphere alone was worth the price of admission. Of all the setting books I own, the original black book is the only one I still go back and read regularly...
