Re: QtR29 - submissions open (it's a secret!)
I've been writing a domain for a horror genre that hasn't really been utilized in Ravenloft yet, despite having hit peak popularity in the same couple of technicolor decades that Hammer horror was big, and presenting recurring villains with a tendency to return from the dead on a small budget - kaij...

Gee, I wonder who could be behind it... Hadn't much time in the last few months, but it will move forward.

Re: [Savage Worlds] Ravenloft
I still need to read cover-to-cover through SWADE and have mixed feelings about the changes so far, but in any case it is good that the conversion stays ahead of the curve for those using the newest edition.

Re: A paladin in Ravenloft.
Is he an Outlander or a native? An outlander could basically worship any evil deity from where he comes from - it are the Dark Powers who provide divine characters with their abilities and features, not the deities themselves. A native has already plenty of choice of evil faiths, as Mistmaster point...

Original native religion of Lamordia?
Lamordia officially has no religion at all. However, the Mordenheim novel is peppered with references to the classical Greek gods, and the Gazetteer mentions that there are deistic Lamordians. Lamordia obviously also has graveyards and burial rites, which must have a religious origin (although they ...

Re: Death Knight by tomokaicho Note: I have received the expanded article by PM, which didn't make it into the current revision of QtR. My feedback is about the expanded article. I like how you dissected the pre-existing official Death Knight stats in AD&D, MM2 and 3.x Dragonlance first and der...

So, any word on a revised version?
I would be especially curious about the final version of the Death Knight template.

Re: Attempting an online campaign
I'm assuming that you do a play-by-post then? PBPs are slow, take a long term commitment and are thus very prone to players (or the GM) dropping out. The big advantage is that PBPs allow for asynchronous communication, which makes them work well for people from different time zones or with unpredict...

Re: Campaign Crafting: Adventures in Mordent
I was basically going to have Lady Margaret's ghost show up in various locations, each time having her point at something before vanishing. My thought was to have her point at the Scottmatter manor and then have the characters figure out where they're meant to go from there. One thing to keep in mi...

Excellent and steady work, all around!
QtR must by now be one of the longest continuously running zines in the hobby, and it still shows no sign of tiredness.

Re: Campaign Ideas & Questions
AFAIK that raid isn't mentioned anywhere else - all the official modules playing in Mordent (House on Gryphon Hill & Howls in the Night) happen way before that, and neither necessitates to confront Godefroy.
Really up to determine to the DM who did it why, and what exactly happened.

Re: Something I never thought I'd see.
I could definitively see players siding with Harkon Lucas. He is relatively benign for a darklord on the surface, and much more likely to sweet-talk and aid a party in order to more effectively ensnare them in his plots. Only on the long term, or if the party should fail to play their part in his pl...
