Re: Paths of Corruption
Some updates here, I think the problem comes with the player after all, finding good players for ravenloft can be difficult at times, since you cannot make (as they say) a player act scared if he does not want to cooperate... Anyway, my final idea was creating something along these lines 1st stage: ...

Paths of Corruption
Greeting everyone I've been trying to locate a thread here in the forum about ideas on paths of corruption. While I've read some interesting theories on powers checks and their use (or better their lack of), I still believe that making a good path to darkness requires a great deal of preparation and...

Some questions on Sithicus and (not related) the Joggleur
I was thinking of steering my players towards the bleak lands of Sithicus and while reading the 4th Gazeteer I tried to think what would the stone giant of the wanderers be refering to. A dragon? A huge bulette? Both seem a bit out of place (even when the source is a 12ft stone giant, hehe) with the...

twisted beautiful art
I found this artist by mistake. His works are strangely beautiful (he works wonders with hues) but sickly disturbing at the same time.
Look here: http://www.jameswjohnson.com/vault/violent.htm for a slideshow and to the domain for some galleries.
Some of them are really "ravenloftesque"!

Actually, I used the book of MotRD to create a game of Cthulhu d20 for some friends who wanted to see the setting. Since the book is great (at least in details, info on the era etc, because the rules have serious problems) I decided to use it as a guide. In between play, I ended up with something li...

Nope, you're both mistaken here. Necronomicon is but a myth Lovecraft created, to better solidify his mythos. Although throughout the century many charlatans appeared claiming to know the truth behind it existed in some sort of ancient mysticism book. lol. Midnight Meat Train is a great story, altho...

GREAT, GREAT GREAT movie!!! The end is absolutely nerve-wrecking!! One rant though, against all those who mentioned it. (btw, this is no direct flame. Indirect maybe.) Isn't it completely LAME to watch a movie stoned/dead-drunk and expect to understand/like it?? I just don't get it.... :? :? Btw, EH...
