Wow, that Snow White version is definitely Gothic and creepy. Strangely enough, the first movie that comes to mind is Dark City. Beyond that, I'd pick what I suspect are the usual - Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Nosferatu, Frakenstein (and the other older monster movies). One book that isn't quite gothic...
