Has anyone ever heard of Battlelords?
Just curious if any one has heard of Battlelords? Its now in its 15th year in print and their spaceship book is slated as the next supplement. I think its staying power has to do with it being based on sci-fi archetypes, being an open enough setting that allows for any players favorite kind of sci-f...

how's this one? What if Jander gave in to his inner darkness? I think he has the potential of becoming more of a threat then Strahd. Especially since he could fool a lot of his past companions at first, hiding the fact that he has turned to the Dark Side. Or What if a group like the Fraternity of Sh...

The movie phantasm scared the living s**t out of me as a little kid. The shining is an excellent one too. When i saw House in the theaters my friend and I were screaming one second then laughing a few seconds later. It never held up after the first viewing but its the only movie i recall actually sc...

DM : Well big suprise, guys. You find the NPC you left to watch the Mind Flayer dead. The Mind Flayer is long gone and the guard's head is as empty as Paris Hilton's. Player 1 : Oh gee, what a shame. That's the fifth time thats happened this week. Player 2 : Well, no use crying about it. Let's get ...

Hows this for an idea? Remember that really stupid star trek when aliens stole Spock's brain? And the even more stupid idea that Bones could control the body with a clicking remote control? Hows that for an Illithid bio weapon? Something like an adapted Illithid tadpole that is like the Earth Final ...

Hmmm... a bunch of medieval toughs awarded with an airship? DM: Okay, fine. You finally manage to pilot the airship over Barovia. What now? Player 1: Do I see castle Ravenloft yet? DM: Yes, you're headed right towards it. In fact, you can see a lone caped figure on the battlements, gesturing and sp...

Perhaps once a year (on the anniversity of the mutiny) a landing rig appears. For that one night its like the cursed ship in Ship of Horror... the ship looks to be in perfect shape, hes looking for a crew... players might get on because its so unique... As the day is about to end a 'storm' rolls in ...

Metal Ships and air ships and little lambs eat ivy
he is a minor nobleman from Leidenheim (made up town further south along the Lamordia coast) who created the unique ship (an ironclad) to hunt pirates. He has no idea what happened to the crew or why they crashed near Ludendorf... Leidenheim isn't a made up town. Dr. Mordenheim began his practice a...

Mindflayers don't seem to have the same squeamishness about body modification as humans have. I like john's spin from that forgotten children article too that mentioned they were more likely to experiment on the developing flayers and not a full grown Illithid. It wasn't ruled out that they wouldn'...
