The two towns in Farelle are both run by a city counsel existing of the most wealthy farmers and traders.
Each appoint a major at the start of the year, most commonly the most practical minded man.
Nestor Brach is the current major of Kaynis. He has started a campaign to eradicate the jackals that have come to hunt the farms in the winter.
While he has been making some progress with a few directed attacks, he has drawn the attention of Jack Karn, the domains lord, and is about to learn the true extent of the jackals' power.
