Psychology is a modern science that has barely a toehold in the Land of Mists. The term is unknown in all but lands with Renaissance culture. The coining of the term dates back no more than a century in these most advanced of lands. It is defined as the study of the soul. A century and a half will pass before a first attempt is made to redefine it as the study of the mind. And three centuries will pass before it is defined in the modern sense as the study of behaviour.
The study of the soul within philosophy beings in Classical age lands.
The study of madness within medicine likewise begins in Classical age lands.
