The Min'kins are small golem-like creatures created by Lian de Loranche Punchinel. They reside within Idlethorp. Each Min'Kin was created to serve a certain role, with its body composed of a number of strangely assembled body parts to fulfill that role. Some min'kins are assemblies of animal parts; some are assemblies of human parts, and some are combinations of both. Min'kins show a highly limited intelligence (Int 1-3) with just enough brain matter to fulfill their duties. Given enough time, a min'kin may spontaneously generate more brain matter (and even sensory organs) than the limited scrap of brain it was created with. Min'kins gain nourishment through a special protein broth concocted by Lian, but experiments have shown they may be fed similar liquid forms of food. Each min'kin has its own special zeitgeber, which it reacts as first to with fear. As it goes through the golem-like period of development and grows independence, a min'kin comes to react to its zeitgeber by going berserk.[1] Note that the Min'kins were never updated to 3.x Edition, so the creature types assigned below are speculative.
