She was the older sister of Claude d'Honaire and Maurice d'Honaire, the aunt of Dominic d'Honaire and Julienne d'Honaire, and the great aunt of Gerard d'Honaire. She quit Mordent with the rest of the family in 707 BC and immigrated to Dementlieu which emerged from the Mists to received Dominic. She with her husband died in Dementlieu in in 733 BC.[1]

Bernadette married Hugues Mousel and had two children of her own, Francois Mousel and Madeleine Mousel They both married and went on to provide Bernadette with a grandchild each.[1]

Bernadette defied both her father's wish for her to marry into the Weathermay Family and for her to pursue political power. She instead married Hugues Mousel, a giomorgo mystic in 698 BC, and shoe chose choice to pursue medicine and mesmerism. Germain, and by extent, the rest of the family did not take it well, and Bernadette became a pariah to the d'Honaires.[2]

Following their estrangement, Bernadette and Hughes lived in a tiny Valachani hamlet until Germain's death. There, Bernadette discovered and converted to the worship of Hala. In 707 BC, after the rest of the D'Honaire family migrated to Dementlieu, Bernadette and Hugues returned to Mordentshire claimed the old d'Honaire family mansion, where she brought Hala's wisdom to her father's work. Bernadette ultimately bestowed the mansion to their son Francois Mousel in 720 BC. Francois subsequently refurbished it into the Mousel Sanitarium for Mental Health.[2]

Following Gerard d'Honaire's visit to the Mousels, Dominic d'Honaire sent assassins to dispatch the rogue branch of the d'Honaire family. Francois survived thanks to the timely intervention of his son James Mousel, but Hugues and Bernadette both met their demise.[3]
