Vulnara is a unique Island of Terror in that it is dominated by gnomes. However, gnomes from this domain differ from gnomes from elsewhere in that they do not share the trickster affinity for illusion nor the sense of wonder that other gnomes have. Rather, these gnomes mostly chug away at their pet projects with a dismal lack of emotion.[5]. This fatalistic seeming lack of concern spills over in the steps they to prepare for danger, or rather the lack thereof. Facing danger seems relatively low on the list of concerns for Vulnaran gnomes; working on their projects is what matters.[2]
