In Curse of Strahd, Zhudun, also known as the Corpse Star, is a vestige and one of the Dark Powers trapped in an amber sarcophagus in the Amber Temple. The Dark Gift of Zhudun allows one who bears it to effect a single resurrection spell once by touch (with no time limit to how long the touched body has been deceased), but the person who accepts the gift takes on an appearance resembling that of a corpse.[1]
