Capacity and [[incapacity]] are a pair that define [[life]]. Life is ''doing'' within limits and is being unable to ''do'' within limits. A man does what he is not incapable of. A man does not do what he is incapable of. It is only the omnipotent that do what they want, that are pure capacity, that have no limits, that are the negation of incapacity, that have nothing that they cannot do.

Capacity and incapacity define a creature, make it what it is. They are the terms of its institution. Being a creature, and a particular creature at that, is doing within specific limits and is being unable to do within specific limits. A creature does what it is not incapable of. A crature does not do what it is incapable of. Only an omnipotent being does what it wants, is pure capacity, has no limits, is the negation of incapacity, has nothing that it cannot do.

The Living, the Undead, and the Constructed are defined by their particular capcities and incapacity.

Animation is capacity and incapacity.
