If the thing wearing Dorgio's face takes hostile action, Klokulf will cast deific vengeance at it.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Reaction up to the player.
Klokulf at least was suspicious and getting ready to do something, so I will roll for initiative.
It does get a surprise round on Benn. Though, since Klokulf warned him, maybe we'll just say initiative tiebreak.

Re: RAVENLOFT: The One That Got Away OOC
Benn just gained two negative levels.
A creature takes the following penalties for each negative level it has gained:
-1 on all skill checks and ability checks.
-1 on attack rolls and saving throws.
-5 hit points.
-1 effective level (whenever the creature’s level is used in a die roll or calculation, reduce it by one for each negative level).
If the victim casts spells, she loses access to one spell as if she had cast her highest-level, currently available spell. (If she has more than one spell at her highest level, she chooses which she loses.) In addition, when she next prepares spells or regains spell slots, she gets one less spell slot at her highest spell level.

THE TEMPTER WITH THE SKULL FACE
will touch attack again (next round), if able.
Klokulf has a declared action, so unless the player changes it, that happens.
Everyone else may act now, this round, including Benn.

Raen was half-expecting that to happen. Is the skull-faced Tempest close to Benn? Can Raen hit it with ... forget that.
Magic missile.

If that is the damage for deific vengeance, those are too many dice. At my level, it deals 2d6 damage, or 5d6 if the target is undead.ewancummins wrote:234277:0

Indeed, misreading. I'll count the first several dice rolled, as appropriate.

Try and defensively cast sanctuary.
