Lands on Sir Clive and maybe pins him unless he makes a reflex save of DC 15.

History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.

He's going to need help. We'll see what LS wants to do, though. Maybe Alain will abandon the wagon. Who knows?

If we're within the 40' range either before or after my move towards them, I'll cast prayer to give him a luck bonus.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Well, the horses are pulling a wagon offload and unguided, and you have a free turn to move and cast if need be...
Let's say 50% chance he can get within range
1-3= in range
4-6 out of range

If Alain tries again, you may need this info:
Handle Animal DC12 to stop the horses. One has taken some minor damage and both are spooked.
The sheet you sent me shows no ranks in the skill, but his CHA mod is quite good. And for now, he gets a +1 bonus from a spell Benn cast just before Alain passed beyond Benn's range.
So 1d20+4, if he tries again.
If he does something else, just let me know what.

You did get some back from rest at the fort and in the swamp.alhoon wrote:ewancummins wrote:Raen takes 20 points.

RE Hit point loss, I assume most hit points at mid and high levels represent luck, fighting prowess, endurance, grit, divine favor, etc.
So at under half, Raen looks beat up, tired, dirty--but he's not seriously injured.
If he got into another fight now, his ability to avoid being disabled, captured, or killed would be diminished. Thus, fewer hit points.
Sleeping in the Vast Swamp wasn't the most comfortable thing, but you guys picked a good campsite and only two of you had to stand watch, so he'll still get some back for that. With a full night’s rest (8 hours of sleep or more), you recover 1 hit point per character level. Any significant interruption during your rest prevents you from healing that night.
If you undergo complete bed rest for an entire day and night, you recover twice your character level in hit points.
I already rolled to see about diseases and parasites for you guys...
By my count, Raen got 12 back, then, from two nights' rest (swamp night, night in fort).
Benn has Touch of Healing. If you are below 1/2 hp, it's good to let him know.
Based on my notes, Raen was hit with a cure spell from Dorgio and Touch of healing in the late scenes in Ravenloft, so he was over half total. Then two nights' rest.
Then hit for twenty.
