Mists of Winter OOC

Post by ewancummins »

OOC notes and discussion go here.

Adam, is Ben taking 10, taking 20, or just rolling for Search when he looks for clues?

You may add a +2 Search for the lens.
It could be helpful in this instance.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

I would laugh at you because I'm level 6, but there's a good shot your character will be more competent at combat even if you were level 3 and would beat Benn up and take his lunch money.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Right, I went with level 5 because it's below the level of old characters like Benn and Dorgio, but a bit ahead of where we started for The Devil's dreams.

I want the oldest, longest played PCs to have that edge. They earned it.

Not badly hurt but Benn's just hatched a goose egg on his skull.

Go ahead and roll a quick Search attempt.

If you make DC 18, you can follow your attacker, at least for some distance.

UPDATED ROSTER/PLAYER LIST

These guys have ready to go, already established characters:
  • Adam
    Brock
That fills my two reserved slots, intended to keep a minimum level of continuity with older games.
(Pendragon would have been wide open, while BR would have only had a few open slots-- Skybolt can't play with a dead 'puter...)

Based on PMs and other conversation, the following players are working on characters/updating sheets-

JMatyr
kintire
Tarlyn
Van
Alhoon

Note that I want to review and approve (or suggest revision to) character concepts/stats/background
before new or updated characters enter play.

I'm going to cap recruitment there, at least for now, and create a waiting list.

Zilfer, Rock, Ail, Metaflux, all you guys:
If you want on the waitlist, post your names below this post. I will arrange the list in that order. Sorry if this seems arbitrary, but I have to impose some kind of order.

Hey now, how I come I didn't receive word about a Ravenloft game until last minute?

I can play Thom, or I could play Galandel. That would all depend on where main part of the story takes place, though.

So yeah.. If you have room I will join.
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.
