Backstory of Helpful Hanz

Hanz merely stops for a moment, realizing the mans request and aqcueisces. Placing each blade across the mans throat, he pushes forth and in one movement, decapitates the beggar. "Gut journey", he mumbles before standing and attempting to go to the aid of his comrades.

[Nemesio]

A cruel looking man with feral looking eyes, wearing studded leather armor, and wielding a sap attempts to knock Hanz out but fails.

The elves are massacring the guards yet more come to replace them.

The carnage, screams, yells and groans contrast starkly with the vibrant colors of the setting sun.

Hanz sees what is transpiring and knows if they don't eliminate all threats, it will be over in a jiffy. HE attacks the feral looking man with his now bloody blades.

The feral eyed man swiftly draws a sword as Hanz turns to attack him. As the clangs of the two mens' weapons ring out, something heavy hits Hanz in the back of the head and everything goes black.....

The remaining refugees fight on bravely, but their resistance is ultimately futile. They are overwhelmed by the guards.....

And that concludes our little backstory.....
