Alain will step(5 foot step if possible) behind a crate if possible for more cover and pull his morning star out as he moves back as a free action, then he will cast magic missile against her .

If needed Def Casting roll :

[dice]0[/dice] +4 if needed based on where he is in the room . He would move to not be in melee if at all possible via the moving behind a crate for cover .

If not disrupted then damage from magic missile is
[dice]1[/dice]+3 from all missile targeted on her, +5 from Edge damage . Total:17 points of damage .

She will take a step closer to threaten him, causing his Defensive Casting to become necessary.
(But negating any AoO she would otherwise get).

That concentration roll you made was too low, so he loses the spell.

Okay, she did a spell and moved in the second round. No chance her attack would hit- it was mostly to spook and distract (getting him in a threatened square, forcing him to cast defensively to avoid an AOO, pretty much)

Alain moved and tried to cast a spell on the defensive, also got his morning star reading for skull pounding action.

ROUND THREE
Alain goes first.

Since I don't a Roll for a Casting defensively then I get an attack on her then :) don't I ? Since she had to as well cast defencesively as well if she got to with melee reach as well . Same rules apply to her .

Yeah, feel free to roll an attack this round.

She's definitely in reach. Crazy lady is all over Alain, trying to stab him to death.

True, make a roll to attack her.

He can do one for the last round and one for this round.

She's not all that graceful for an elf.

Alain is able to strike her before she can dodge; perhaps she was fooled by his bit of ledgerdemain.

Monster hands help.
