Best role-playing: Rock as Everline. While everyone has been outstanding, the portrayal of Everline as someone who gradually became (as Primeiro thought) "broken" due to the level drains was superb.

Best heroic act(s): Benn diving off the cliff to save his son. That was Goosebump Time.

XP and rewards- preliminary outline
This leads me to the next big item: XP and other rewards.

I'm editing an XP post now. Basically, you should all expect a fairly big chunk of XP. Not everyone will get exactly the same amount, but everyone will get a lot. It may not level everyone up, though. This is normal. Level progression is supposed to slow down a bit at the mid-levels.

Aha, but if it’s not enough, there is a way you can get MORE. I've decided to award XP for archiving threads, going all the way back to the very first post in Mists over the Musarde.
This bonus XP may be transferred to NPC allies and minions who somehow helped you in the game (not to other PCs), or converted into treasure for your PCs. So, even if you leveled up, it may still be worth your effort to archive. You get loot for it!

Of course, a little backstory on new treasure would be needed. Something like ‘’got lucky in a faro game in Nova Vaasa and won a fine stallion’ or ‘captured a notorious felon and collected a 500 gp award from the City Council of Pont-a-Museau)

What is the lowest level of anyone in the game, 5, 4 or less?
For level n, one needs (n-1)x1000 to advance. Eustace is level 5, and Dorgio 6 I think. I'm guessing Benn is lv 6 too. So, what's the level of the other PCs? Everline, Primeiro, Juergin?

The xp given (without archiving) only levels up someone at level 4 or less.
This assuming that we start at the initial point for the level we're in. I don't have any indication of xp for Eustace from previous campaigns, so I've been considering it at the minimum.

Adam, what are your plans for Benn?

I don't think Benn and Eustace overlap completely, and both are useful. Eustace is a cleric and I guess those are never too much in Ravenloft. But although Eustace has good knowledge skills, he is a bit specialized and doesn't have a number of things Benn has. Can Benn learn arcane spells too? Where is his class detailed?

Thanks for all the votes, guys. ^^ You finished before I could weigh in! I would have given my 'best action'-vote to Benn, and the 'best storytelling' to Primeiro or Tarlyn; they each had some excellent story moments.

Primeiro started at 4th level, so the XP award leaves him just short of 5th. Just FYI: I'll be on vacation from this Monday through Friday, so I probably won't able to pitch in with the archivining for a while, but I'll gladly help with what's left when I'm back. I'll still be online once or twice a day to check posts.

Jürgen is level 1 Fighter/level 1 Rogue and now level 1 Shadowsworn. He started 1/1 however but with a Shadow "Pal".

And I was shocked to see that Norzak lived up until Chapter 6! Franz started on page 13

Dorgio was only 5th. I did start him at midway to 6th. All of this has been noted. Everybody else began at base for level.


And yes, most of you didn't level.
