Threan is able to duck into a shadowy side hall and find an empty room in which to hide.
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

After tending to his injuries, the little gnome is free to roam the dimly illuminated [a few candles here and there, or an occasional window to the outside with the shutters open] rooms and halls...

Threan soon finds an indifferently clean dormitory; a cramped room with several bunk beds. Disheveled linen sheets hang from the bunks. This section of the Fane would appear to contain living quarters.

As he is looking around he finds several dormitories that look suitable as place to start fire's and and dowses those rooms with oil . After about 4 minutes of sneaking about he is heard by some skeletons but they fail to spot him as he sneak's away from them as he goes around a corner to search for other places to make flammable for flash points for the fire .

In search for good places to set fires he finds a library but is almost spotted by an acolyte leaving it with a book . He dowses that room and is thinking that he will not have enough to do the job properly when he finds a lantern/oil room with plenty of supplies .

As he is just finishing up breaking what supplies he will not need from from the oil/lantern room and preparing to set whole place a blaze he barely slips behind a door as a priest quickly opens a door to room he was just in soaking it with oil .

After about 10 minutes of this he starts to hear shouts an intruder in the Fane and thinks it's good time to leave and let them worry about some else besides him . Like lets say a fire . He starts the fire in the oil closet lights all the trails of oil he left to the rooms he soaked with oil .

He slips out a side door as an acolyte opens it to make sure that no one is sneaking away Hehehe out a window or some other door .

Threan flees the Fane.

Very soon afterward, voices may be heard shouting inside the lair of the Myrkulites. Smoke begins to pour out of several of the ground floor windows.

Threan seeing that the fun will just be begining seeks out the Priestess of Waukeen for further healing as the Healing belt seems to work only about half the time on the wounds that the devils gave him .

Behind the militia's line of cover [provided by wagons, shacks, etc] Nissa Gyrglass tends to Threan's wounds.

Alain looks at the gnome as he is getting treated, offering no real expression to betray his thoughts. The Writer looks tired when their eyes meet for a moment.
He looks back to the Fane. "It is just a matter of time now." He says to no one in particular.

His face remaining a mask of emotion, the bard begins to sing.

The main entrance [double doors] opens and a group of maybe ten or twelve men and women come rushing out, chased by smoke and flames. They wear black robes. A few are armed with daggers or clubs. Among their number are several walking skeletons!

Ironheart, next to Shana.

Sword and axe lying to him ión the ground, the blades painted with oil,
so they don't reflect light.

Someone near Ironheart screams. THUNK.

A militiaman's headless corpse rolls across the cobbled lane.
A twisted humanoid shadow falls across the barbarian's field of view. He has only a few seconds in which to react as the monster advances upon him , swinging its gory glaive!
