Really rather random question.

This is a little out there, but does anyone know:

1. What materials (what stone, slate roofs etc) Castle Ravenloft is made from.
2. If its in writng anywhere as to the colour of the walls, roofs etc.

Much of it is topped by battlements and stone but I believe the towers were topped by red slate or something similar.

IIRC, the walls were white before Strahd's fall. After four centuries of deferred maintainence and rotten Balinok weather, they've no doubt become a mottled, grimy gray or off-white in most places.

Vampire in the Mists makes it clear that Strahd is not big on maintenance. So don't go expecting a fresh coat of paint to cover up the bat dung and blood splotches, rather just grimy old stone.
