Wow.
All I can say is just...
Wow.

I really enjoyed the short story 1408, but the movie just blew me away. There were some points where the movie veered from the story. For example, Samuel L. Jackson didn't really play the character he was asigned - he was just one of the many faces of familiar, prolific actor Samuel L. Jackson. Still, he hit the mark.

The direction was absolutly perfect. The scares are pleantiful and the pacing relentless. They say no one lasts an hour in the room. Within an hour you'll be clawing at the theater doors.

Definitly see this movie in theaters. Most of its magic will only work on the silver screen.
