Cafe de Nuit

Hi all,

Just giving a short note that my Souragnee campaign has just started: The party is currently exploring an abandoned mansion of the Hermandad de la Sombra in Lima, Peru.

Guided by the Okerlund Manuscript, they are supposed to find a Canadian dempon priest, J. C. Gotten, there.

Four players right now, sounds promissing.

The adventure, continued:

Got into the house, had a fight with a guardian dog and found the mansion deserted and full of dead.

Then, out of no known reasons, the house was attacked by masked and armoured soldiers, and the party had to fight its way to freedom...

Managed to save a prisoner from the mansion before the soldiers blew ithe building up...

Later gor a new letter from the Fraternity of Shadows, directing them to a place at Lima Harbour...

Where's Bono in all that?

My avatar in my games is usually *Merowech Rednose*, a particularly mean gnome. I still have to tinker how to insert him into Souragne.

Now, I am not sure how my players would react if I introduced a character called Bono Vox...

Maybe a vodoo priest in the swamps...

Last session (Monday):

Group went to investigate who had attacked the Fraternity's house.

Found a brothel ship from Tahiti that could be of interest.

Had a good time in Lima, following the track of a mysterious, threatening letter they had received.

Finally, met a strange Asian gangster, a Yakuza, who declared them that he was member of the Fraternity and would instruct them for their mission.

Rafael who is the King of Blackmoor, otherwise we cant register I dont think.LOL

Blackmoor's King is *Uther*; however, just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, that is a game that absolutely nothing to do with Ravenloft (except fellow FoS member Fido playing there for a long time). The campaign I am writing about here is my current home game in Germany.

Next session today:

Went totally out of control - was very funny indeed.

Took a ship from Lima to Souragne; the VERBEREK, with captains Alfred and Nathan Timothy...

Solved the the consequent werewolf problem with a gatling gun...

Was more fun and laughter than anything else, but was very rewarding for the group, since they had had a long pause since last session.

Closed the adventure with the group entering the harbour of Port d'Elhour...

LOL!

Last session yesterday:

Finally arrived in Souragne, took a tour through Port d'Elhour, kidnapped Dr. Übel, head of the German delegation that is to auction with some other secret diplomats about some secret weapon Antoine Misroi is developing in the swamp. (Rumour says something like "The Immortal Soldier"...)

Took residence in Maison Soulombre and discovered the cofifns of the Umbra lords in the basment, without having knowledge what they were dealing with.
Also found a human-sized monkey robot next to coffins...

At night, creepy moment, when some Souragnien bandits stole the bodies of the Umbra. Followed them, and met stoned Chickenbone and his party of apes at the gate to Port d'Elhour's cemetery, but got nothing out of him...

Last session:

Party wanted to visit some other noble fmailies in Port d'Elhour.

Got their butts kicked by a gang of street kids, and one of those friendly storm troopers from "Jin Roh", which, from what they know serve P.R.I.M.E.

Found out that somebody - a secret society, or a madman, was hunting down the foreign diplomats that visit Souragne to participate on an auction, where Anton Misroi will offer a special new technology to the highest bidder. All they know so far is that the other diplomatic parties, especially the American ambassadors, are really psyched about it...

Last scene was when they entered the big auction, in order to meet Mr Desjardin and Madame Tuvache, who is praised as Souragne's master inventor.

On the stage, the auctionator presented a ghoul, and the entire audience applauded frenetically...
