I recently acquired the Guide to Transylvania. In my copy, pages 9-16 are duplicated and pages 17-24 are missing. Again at the end, 81-88 (the pages connected to 9-16) are duplicated and 73-80 (which should be connected to 17-24) are missing.
Are all the copies of this book like that? Or did I get a dud?

I think a fair batch of 2nd edition Ravenloft books suffered from duplicate pages. I have both a Van Richtens guide with duplicate pages and a Domains of dread that duplicates the Gypsy class pages over where the avenger and Madness/fear/horror rules should be.
