Amazon has added Vampire of the Mists as a future (re)relerase - for september.

It's also in the "Ravenloft covenant" serie.

Great!

Ravenloft Covenant 1: Death of a Darklord -releasing 11 July
Ravenloft Covenant 2: Vampire of the Mists - releasing 12 September

... dare we hope for RC3 in December? Any speculation on which would be (re)released next?
I only wish I had retired sooner!

Knight of the Rose books are doubtful. Possibly Heart of Midnight or Carnival of Fear.

King of the Dead would be a good one, considering it's rarity and resale value, there's obviously a demand for it. (And I speak as one who paid a slightly exorbitant amount for my copy.)

Why do you think so? They have a good following, I think.

Or do you think of the Soth / Dragonlance conflict?

The conflict. I doubt they'd want to tempt fate...

I'd vote for *I, Strahd*. One of the better novels I read last year, and definitely very good for a Ravenloft novel.

- But, hey, in any case, Ravenloft lives on! :D

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Tales of Ravenloft come back, if short story anthologies aren't considered a poor seller-- not all the stories are winners (and some play pretty fast and loose with RL) but "The Crucible of Rudolph van Richten" and "Caretaker" are quite good. (Or would there be a problem with the Soth story "The Rigor of the Game"?)

I don't think it'd be either of the I, Strahd books or either of the Soth books. Not only because of the Dragonlance conflict, but also because those books were reprinted once already.

:) A valid point. I personally would like to see Lord of the Necropolis as well, since I am eager to see what was sooo terribly revealing in it that it was declared non-canon... :)

I'm also a big fan of 'The Enemy Within". I'll always see that the the canon Tristan/Malken. You know, I wonder reexamine the idea of entire published works being declared non-canon. I wonder if we shouldn't just declare certain aspects or passages of them non-canon.

Aren't Knight and Spectre still inprint? They're listed on the Dragonlance Readinglist as "The Terror of Lord Soth" series, along with the novel Lord Soth.

Spectre is still listed as available new on Amazon, but Knight is only available used. (but they do currently have 85 of them!)

I would expect the "I, Strahd" novels as follow-ups to Vampire of the mists.
About the Soth books... I believe we won't see them for some time.
