Actually, I've read excerpts and a LJ community called lkh_lashouts which is comprised of people who were Hamilton fans and became increasingly disappointed with the turn the series took. It's apparently gotten pretty horrible as time went on.

I stopped reading them after Blue Moon, the eighth book in the Anita Blake series. They just seemed repetitive to me, endlessly agonizing over whether she loved the vampire or the werewolf.
I only wish I had retired sooner!
