Great game, though I still don't get what "bonus" you get from shotgun/shotgun cells.

I only reached lvl 10...gues i suck...

Actually, I just figured it out getting past stage 10 requires the use of the shotgun...at least for me it does!!

But how did you use it??? I can't understand if it gives you some invincible combo.

Btw, last night I got to lvl 16 with TONS of sweat running down my neck!!!

I won't say any tips...

The shotgun is mainly used for taking out the big zombies in one shot. Of course, the insane reloading time makes it a death trap, so I don't use it. A nice tip is to shoot the skinny zombies in the legs and finish them off when they're down, or just buy some time to take out the big ones.

No, I think what sabbatack is asking is HOW do you use it? :)
I had the same problem until level 8, when I figured it out.
Shift-click to switch weapons.

I got to level 11.

Fun! :)

Ah, I see... well, I guess most people don't read the story part (not that there's much of it, anyway), because it says how to change weapons on the second page.

Here's a tip-

If you shoot 'em when they're just rising, it only takes one pistol shot.

Got to level 12.

Made it to level 10, but my screen's so dark I couldn't actually see anything.

I made it to level 10, but apparently I've got the same problem as Corrupted Loremaster--my screen's so dark on that level I can barely see anything. And it's not like the zombies are much more than shadows anyway. Tough to shoot what you can't see...

*grumble* :x

If I had a tip it would be to play without sound. Some might say that robs the player of part of the experience, but I just find it distracting, even when it's only the pistol shots/shotgun blasts.

That, and these, some of which have already been said:

1.) Shoot the zombies in the legs--they'll fall, and give you a chance to get off another shot at the ones behind them, and the ones behind THEM.

2.) Shoot anything you can when it's just rising--especially the bigger zombies. Even on levels 8-10, one pistol shot is all it takes if they're just pulling themselves out of the ground.

3.) If the screen's empty and you've just reloaded, it won't hurt to fire a few pistol shots at the lower right edge of the screen--you might pick a few off just as they're rising even if you can't see them.

4.) Avoid using the shotgun for as long as you can. All it seems to be good for is getting rid of the bigger zombies (and the smaller ones that keep coming without heads or arms) in one shot. Use only if desperate (read, four or more zombies within an inch or so), and quickly switch back to the pistol.

5.) WATCH HOW MUCH SHOTGUN AMMO YOU HAVE! It takes less time to empty two pistol cylinders at the big zombies than it does to load the bloody shotgun.

6.) If you're targeting the bigger zombies, aim at the very tops of their heads--otherwise, the smaller ones that move faster will get in front of the bigger ones, take the bullets you're intending for the bigger ones, and when the bigger zombies get close they'll rip you apart.
