As you can see from my earlier post I'm quite aware of this. I suggested that his "curse" might be that he is aware of the fact of him not being real.

How about the first Darklord of Eryie? Kravon. Instead of a flying keep, he could now have a giant zepplin-fortresse :wink:

What about Strahd?

If you use the theory that Mordent is from GE, then Strahd has visited GE in THoGH. Now, what if that was a failed coup by the Red Death to obtain the DP greatest plaything? It failed, but whilst he was on GE for a while, Strahd gained the attention of the Qabals, making Pontenagro think he is a member of El Siete.

I think that Strahd wasn't long enough in Mordent/ GEarth to be of notice.
