Beast of Bray Road / TSR connection?

I was reading this month's Dark Realm magazine's article on the 'Beast of Bray Road', a werewolf-like creature that has reportedly been spotted in the Southern Wisconsin area. Looking up further information online (Google search finds plenty), I read that the Beast has a history dating back to the 1930's but most sightings occured in the early 1990's. There was a more recent batch of sightings in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Looking online further at maps of the area of the sightings, I see that the prime area has been Walworth County, Wisconsin, not too far from Lake Geneva, former home of TSR. The sightings appeared to slow down or stop during the 1996/1997 purchase of TSR by WOTC and relocation of staff to the Pacific Northwest.
Coincidence? Maybe anyone reading here with ties to Lake Geneva/TSR could enlighten me.
