What age should we stop playing Ravenloft

Discussing all things Ravenloft

About what age do you believe a person should stop playing Raenloft as he or she is very old for this?

Around 18, at most 20. This is a game for teenagers after all.

Around 30 to 35. When you have kids, you should stop hunting vampires and werewolves. What bedtime stories will you tell them if not?

Never! Until your brain becomes so old that you cannot remember who Strahd is, you will roll the dice.

Besides, it's much more poignant to have your character try to ascend to lichhood when you're working on it yourself!
Exactly my friends, I intend to play well into my Immortality throwing dice with Strahd and Azalin

 Ah, accidentally voted on a different button!

Only for the record: I do not plan to stop gaming ever! It's a part of my life!
I might not remain so active as I am now, but I'll certainly never stop enjoying a good rpg, Ravenloft or the 12e Mystara rerelease up in 2078 then.

With the age poll around, I thought to rekindle that poll.

I'm 19- but I don't see myself ever stopping. Why would I anyway? I like DnD- I like Ravenloft- I don't care what others think= I keep playing RL. It's nice to know that people in their 40's are playing DnD, especially in this setting as I feel it lends credibility to Ravenloft itself.

If you don't stop around 18 then it's too late, you can play forever
I must admit that this is a game that take you a long time to forget, even if i stop playing RL for 5 years i'm still playing at the age of 31.
First failed power check when i saw the old black box in a gaming store about 12 years ago.

NiiiiiiiiiiiiiiCE!

Yeah I've actually only been playing for about 8 years now, and I can't forsee myself stopping. Of all the things I've gotten into and quit over the years, DnD has remained the one constant. :D

I fully expect the care home my kids stick me in (when I have kids I'm only 27) will have a D&D group and if not I'll make one.
